Envirian Obtains Patent Protection For Color Mapping Technology
Reston, VA - October 17, 2005 Envirian, a technology-based provider of residential real estate services to professional buyers and sellers, today announced the successful completion of it's first Patent application, with the U.S. Patent Office.
This filing provides protection for Envirian's first MLS adjunct product "Envirian Color Mapping".
Dr. Lee Konowe, Envirian C.E.O. believes that "This first of many MLS consumer information enhancement services, will continue to demonstrate the ultimate benefits of a technology/brokerage marriage"..
“By developing systems that are exclusive to Envirian, our platform distances and differentiates itself from the many more old line competitors", Konowe said.
Envirian’s proprietary technology Color Mapping system allows a consumer to see each listing displayed against a local map, where each listing is color coded by price. This allows consumers to see location versus price right down to the subdivision level. For individuals relocating from one are to another, this system provided a valuable adjunct to the existing MLS data. Additionally, this Color Mapping system allows investors to rapidly identify sub-median priced properties.
